MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) - Pakistan has confidence in big prospects of cooperation with Belarus. The development of Belarusian-Pakistani relations was discussed during a meeting between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Masood Khan Raja in Minsk on 22 January, BelTA has learned.
The diplomat said that it was an honor for him to work in Belarus. “During my tenure as ambassador I received all necessary assistance from the Belarusian leadership,” he said.
The ambassador stressed the important role of the two leaders in the promotion of Belarusian-Pakistani cooperation, which, in his opinion, has a large potential for development.
