KIEV, 13 February (BelTA-TASS) – The Minsk ceasefire deal is the best option possible today, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier told reporters at the forum “Fifteen years of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine: a look back to define future strategy of assistance to the country” on 13 February.

“The Minsk agreements are the best opportunity we have now. We should do our best to make them work,” he noted.

While discussing the implementation of the Minsk agreements, OSCE representatives in Ukraine noted that they are ready to conduct a common monitoring on the border between Ukraine and Russia provided they are offered safety guarantees.
