MINSK, 21 July (BelTA) – The forum Tempo 2015 is a perfect ground to discuss youth issues, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda said at an official opening ceremony of the international youth trade union educational forum Tempo 2015 on 20 July, BelTA informs.
“Young people from different countries have similar problems. They are, for instance, connected with employment and professional development. Every country has its methods that can be useful for others. The forum Tempo is a perfect ground to discuss such issues,” Mikhail Orda explained.
According to the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the forum Tempo is taking place for the first time. “We aimed at creating an interesting platform to make it maximally informal and useful for young people. I think the project should be further developed for the number of its participants going up two or three times next year,” he said.
Attending the forum is the youth of Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Cyprus. “It is important for our guests to see for themselves how the youth of our country live and work,” Mikhail Orda said.
The international youth trade union educational forum Tempo 2015 is underway in Belarus on 20-24 July. Its major goals are to create a discussion platform for the youth, government institutions and business and to put forward an idea of trade unions as a strong organization able to protect the interests of young people. The program of the forum comprises a number of events, including visits to the Palace of Independence, the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and the National Library of Belarus. Tempo 2015 participants will be offered trainings in creative thinking, image and business etiquette. They will also get familiar with the activity of Belarus’ media mass media outlets, take part in sport and environmental competitions.
