MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – Aiming at quality in everything we do is the key to competitiveness and economic development of Belarus, First Deputy Chairwoman of the Belarusian State Committee for Standardization Yelena Morgunova said in the latest episode of BelTA’s project The Nation Speaks.
According to Yelena Morgunova, 2024 has been declared the Year of Quality for a reason. "In many industries, the products Belarusian manufacturers make are a priori of high quality. We use the latest achievements, standardized methods, standards. All this makes our products top of the line. But quality is not just about the quality of the product and the commodity. The Year of Quality implies we strive for better quality in different sectors such as education, roads, medical services, energy efficiency, energy saving, i.e. all the areas that surround us," she said.
"Everyone should take care of the quality of their life - from personal to public,” Yelena Morgunova believes. "If everyone does something in their area of work, then we will get a comprehensive result in all walks of life – from economy to the quality of our own life," Yelena Morgunova said.
“The motto of the Year of Quality is quality in everything we do. This is the key to competitiveness and economic development of Belarus."
