MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) – Intellectual capital can significantly improve economic efficiency, Valery Borodenya, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives’ standing commission on budget and finances, told the journalists while commenting on the Belarusian president’s State of the Nation Address, BelTA has learned.
Valery Borodenya pointed out that in due time the state made a decision to develop information technologies, to establish the Hi-Tech Park. Today we can talk about significant achievements in this area. However, not every economic sector or every citizen has yet felt the effect of the HTP successes so far.
According to the MP, the impact of the Hi-Tech Park achievements should be felt across the country. To achieve this, it is important to harness scientific and intellectual potential, to speed up the integration of information technologies in the economy. “I think we will be moving in this direction,” Valery Borodenya said.
“Innovations in finance, regional leadership in the digital economy imply very bold yet balanced decisions. We do need to make bold decisions in order to proceed to a new level. Ordinances No.7 and No.8 are the basis for this,” assures the deputy.
