MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian government prioritizes the ideas of young people, First Deputy Secretary of the BRSM Youth Union Andrei Belyakov noted at the opening of an exhibition of projects that won the 100 Ideas for the CIS project and an exhibition of the national youth contest 100 Ideas for Belarus on 12 April, BelTA informs.
“The national policy of Belarus and the CIS member states gives top priority to young people. Their ideas are the ideas of our countries’ well-being. By plunging into the atmosphere of today’s holiday, everyone will be able to discover something new, make new friends, and, probably, think about what he or she can do for the motherland,” Andrei Belyakov said.
The CIS Council for Youth Affairs convened in Minsk on 12 April. The Belarusian capital is playing host to the 100 Ideas for the CIS exhibition-presentation project and the final of the 100 Ideas for Belarus contest within the framework of today’s meeting. An awards ceremony took place at the main venue of the Belexpo exhibition center.
