Nicaragua views Belarus as like-minded nation

MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – This first visit of our parliamentary delegation to the Republic of Belarus is an indicator of the political will of the leaders of our states, First Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Nicaragua Arling Patricia Alonso Gómez said during a meeting with Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova in Minsk on 3 October, BelTA has learned.

I would like to note that we feel your love, care and hospitality here. There is no doubt that we are like-minded peoples. So are our governments,” Arling Patricia Alonso Gómez noted.

According to her, a representative delegation arrived in Belarus and the program of the visit is quite packed. "The goal of our visit is to deepen our relations of solidarity and brotherhood," she noted.

The parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Nicaragua led by First Vice-President of the National Assembly of Nicaragua Arling Patricia Alonso Gómez is on a visit to Belarus on 3-4 October. This is the first such visit as part of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Nicaragua. Its goal is to thrash out plans to promote interparliamentary contacts.
