Myasnikovich hails high level of trust, mutual understanding between Belarus, Russia

MOSCOW, 2 April (BelTA) – Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich congratulated Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from the EEC press service.

“Shared history, moral values, traditions and culture of the peoples of our countries have contributed to the establishment of one of the most successful and advanced integration associations – the Union State of Belarus and Russia. Its example helped set up the Eurasian Economic Union and has facilitated its active development,” the congratulatory messages read.

According to Mikhail Myasnikovich, over many years of joint work, Belarus and Russia have achieved a high level of trust and mutual understanding, which helps them find solutions to any issue.

Thanks to generous personal support from the Belarusian and Russian presidents, the mutually beneficial Belarusian-Russian cooperation creates new opportunities for meaningful social and economic development of the two countries and strengthens stability in entire Eurasia, Mikhail Myasnikovich added.
