MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) – Belarus makes a meaningful contribution to overcoming confrontations on the international arena, Christine Muttonen, who worked as the Chairperson of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in 2016-2017, told Belarus 1 TV Channel, BelTA has learnt.
The forum “Eastern Europe: In Search of Security for All” organized by the Minsk Dialogue Initiative took place in the Belarusian capital on 23-25 May. “We should overcome the bloc approach and the split between the nations. The number one priority for us is to ensure prosperity for people. This is why the forum in Minsk is so important. It has brought together experts from various countries and areas of expertise, like politicians and scholars. This is a really valuable contribution on part of Belarus,” Christine Muttonen said.
