MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Russian-Ukrainian project Minsk Initiative will help build a harmonious world, BelTA learned from Belarusian Information Minister Lilia Ananich after the conference Science and Culture in Modern Discourse on 2 December.
Lilia Ananich said: “The Minsk Initiative project is not a debating club. It is a system of mutual relations between the three countries where scientific, cultural, and information platforms will be used to implement the projects that will help build a harmonious world. Belarus is a country that has managed to demonstrate to the world that one can live without conflicts. Today we can help our neighbors, who need conference venues.”
According to the source, a package of proposals for future meetings and projects will be developed. By initiating such projects Belarus continues helping resolve the Ukrainian-Russian conflict but in the humanitarian dimension this time, said the official.
BelTA reported earlier that on 2 December participants of the conference Science and Culture in Modern Discourse from Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine instituted the Minsk Initiative project. The project is meant to step up scientific and cultural activities in each country and in the common spiritual space by filling trilateral and multilateral cooperation with new sense.
