MOSCOW, 5 June (BelTA) – Minsk is an ideal platform for negotiations on any topical international issues, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov told reporters after the joint session of the boards of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Russia in Moscow on 5 June, BelTA informs.
“We have once again thanked Belarusian friends for the organization of the talks on the implementation of the Minsk agreement within the framework of the contact group,” Sergei Lavrov said. “Minsk has become a hospitable and convenient capital city for all participants of these talks. I am convinced that if it becomes necessary for the international community to hold negotiations on any other burning issue, the Belarusian capital city will be an optimal place for the process of negotiations for many sides.”
