MOSCOW, 10 October (BelTA) – Minsk and Moscow can learn a lot from each other, Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets who led the Minsk delegation during the Minsk Days in Moscow, told journalists, BelTA has learned.
"Moscow is changing and becoming more beautiful, so there is much to see and adopt," Andrei Shorets said. This is why the Minsk delegation includes not only business representatives but also representatives of the healthcare industry, education, sport and so on.
Sergei Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Foreign Economic and International Relations Department, called the Minsk Days in Moscow a joyful occasion. He noted the fruitful cooperation between Belarus and Moscow. Belarus supplies a lot of necessary products to Moscow including food and utility machinery. "Our relations with Minsk are strategic in nature," Sergei Cheremin stressed.
The program of the Minsk Days in Moscow includes not only economic and cultural events but also an event to share best practices. Thus, Andrei Shorets visited the new park Zaryadye which opened on the site of the former Rossiya hotel on 10 October. He is also expected to visit the road traffic control center, the situation center of the Tsentralny administrative district and Otkrytiye Arena.
