MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarus’ efforts to strengthen stability in the region will bear fruit, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili said during the talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk on 1 March, BelTA has learned.
Giorgi Margvelashvili said that he saw the Palace of Independence in many international news stories. “This Palace has become part of international history, because Belarus hosts high-profile talks thanks to your experience in establishing the diplomatic atmosphere. We are confident that your efforts to strengthen stability in the region and more globally will will bring success,” the Georgina president said.
He also stressed that Georgia has supported and will support Belarus in the international arena. “We believe that your role should be further strengthened,” Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
