MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) - Belarus is sincerely interested in bolstering the bilateral ties with Georgia in all areas, Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said as he met with Georgia Minister of Foreign Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili, BelTA has learned.
"Belarus is sincerely interested in deepening and expanding the bilateral relations across all areas. We are interested in cooperation on all the issues,” said Vladimir Makei.
He recalled that President Alexander Lukashenko paid a visit to Georgia at the end of April this year during which a number of agreements were signed. Belarus aims to ensure that these arrangements should be implemented in full, Vladimir Makei noted. In turn, Tamar Beruchashvili noted the firm commitment by the Georgian side to use the positive momentum in the bilateral relations which began this year.
