MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Poland need to do a lot to reach a new level of cooperation, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said at a meeting with his Polish counterpart Jacek Czaputowicz on 1 November. The Polish minister is in Minsk to attend the Munich Security Conference Core Group Meeting, BelTA informs.
The Belarusian minister of foreign affairs stressed that the development of cooperation with Poland has always been a priority for Belarus, and that the country will remain a reliable partner for Poland. Vladimir Makei added that there is a great potential for further development of Belarusian-Polish contacts, and this potential should be used.
According to the Belarusian minister, today’s meeting will highlight further prospects for the development of relations between Belarus and Poland.
Vladimir Makei emphasized the importance of the participation of the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Munich Security Conference Core Group Meeting in Minsk and an exchange of views during this large-scale forum.
