Makei: Belarus and Russia should mark 25 years of diplomatic relations with real achievements

MOSCOW, 21 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia should celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations with some real achievements, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said as he met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on 21 February.

Vladimir Makei noted that the meeting provided a chance to discuss both the bilateral relations and cooperation in the international arena.

“This is a great opportunity to talk over the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation so that we could approach the 25^th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Belarus and Russia with some real achievements,” the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs said.
