MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko wants proposals on improving the court system in the country from the Constitutional Court. He made the statement at the meeting with the judges of the Constitutional Court on15 March, BelTA informs.
“I want you and the Belarus President’s Administration to submit proposals on raising the efficiency of the entire court system,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The president reminded that he has recently held a meeting to discuss the performance of law enforcement agencies. After that, a decision was made to review the performance of the court system as well.
“I think that the Constitutional Court can independently, openly and thoroughly analyze the performance of general jurisdiction courts through the prism of information it gets,” the head of state stressed.
