MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – At the meeting with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov in Minsk, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced plans to have a telephone conversation with the president of Russia soon, BelTA reports.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sergey Lavrov conveyed greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin to the president of Belarus.
“Thank you, extend my greetings to him, too,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
“Definitely, in detail,” assured Sergey Lavrov.
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, he plans to have a telephone conversation with the Russian leader in the near future: “I will call him today or tomorrow. We have something to discuss.”
