MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said that there were many attempts to destabilize the situation in the country. He promised to tell people about it later. Alexander Lukashenko noted that he is concerned about the situation in the country. “There were many attempts, but since no one heard about it or saw it, it means that we have finally learned to work calmly and prevent various insinuations and attempts to locally destabilize the situation in Belarus,” the head of state said. “In due time we will tell people about these attempts,” he added.
Speaking about the presidential election campaign, Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the country has done everything to avid any criticism, especially from western partners and observers. “Yesterday I had to openly say that we have done a lot to demonstrate the elements of democracy to the West.
