MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko heard out a report of Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman on 23 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The president was briefed on the performance of the directorate in January-September. According to Viktor Sheiman, there has been a positive momentum in economic affairs, in general. The directorate is meeting the performance targets, he said.
Alexander Lukashenko and Viktor Sheiman discussed the
new fields of work of the Property Management Directorate, in particular, the establishment of pharmaceutical companies and also ventures to produce and process turkey meat. The prospects of the directorate’s work in 2018 were also touched upon during the meeting.The president gave an instruction to develop new lines of business in agriculture, pharmaceutics, and step up the economic interaction with African countries.
The head of state also urged to draft a list of promising Belarus-India projects in order to start setting up joint ventures.
