MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent National Day greetings to Sudan President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir and the people of Sudan on 1 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I fondly recall the meeting with you in Khartoum in January 2017. Our open constructive dialogue has given a boost to bilateral cooperation and outlined new promising avenues of cooperation,” reads the message of greetings.
The head of state expressed confidence that Belarus-Sudan relations in politics, economy, and other fields will keep developing gradually and dynamically in the interests of both countries.
