Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Emperor Akihito of Japan

MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Emperor Akihito of Japan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state remarked that Belarus and Japan are interested in the development of productive cooperation for the benefit of the two nations.

“I am convinced that with the help of constructive dialogue we will make significant progress in the enhancement of bilateral ties in various fields,” the message of greetings reads.
