MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greeting to the laureates and scholarship holders of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented school and university students which celebrates its 20^th anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Laureates and scholarship holders of the fund are the pride of the nation, the message of greetings reads. “Your victories at academic excellence competitions and contests, participation in scientific and research conferences enhance the image of Belarus on the international arena and serve as an example for peers. I would like to sincerely thank teachers who help young talented people acquire knowledge and polish their skills,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

The head of state expressed confidence that the intellectual potential, diligence, and perseverance will help laureates and holders of the fund get high grades, work hard and make a big contribution to the development of Belarusian science, economy, and social sector.
