Lukashenko: If there is no justice, we will have a war

Lukashenko: If there is no justice, we will have a war

LOGOISK, 7 January (BelTA) – Injustice may lead a society to a war. Ukraine is an example of that. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he visited a church in Logoisk, Minsk Oblast on Orthodox Christmas, 7 January, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also reminded that people create values in the country, this is why it is necessary to give them a fair share of generated profits. “Instead of lining your pockets. It is the principle of justice,” the head of state stressed while talking about business practices and pricing.

“If this justice does not exist, we will have a war. Things did not start with a maidan revolution in Ukraine. Everything started with injustice when a huge clan (oligarchs) emerged and strangled Ukraine. And little by little these oligarchs led the country to a war. For instance, [Ukraine President Vladimir] Zelensky is not a poor man. This is why huge money represents a major problem for those, who haven’t earned it. One doesn’t think about the state then. One thinks about this money then. And all the presidents over there were like that. This is why everything begins with injustice,” the Belarusian leader remarked.
