MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – During the government conference held on 13 April to discuss the development of winter sports Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko mentioned he is a devoted supporter of Belarusian Paralympians, BelTA has learned.

“Belarusian Paralympians did great. They put everyone’s nose out of joint. Count me in as your devoted supporter,” said Alexander Lukashenko. The president stressed that Belarusian Paralympians had gone above and beyond in order to secure victories during the 2018 PyeongChang Paralympics. “They chewed everyone with their teeth. In severe weather,” stated the head of state. Alexander Lukashenko noted that some Belarusian skiers could not even climb the mountain in such conditions.
