Lukashenko hopes for UK support in advancing Belarus-United States relations

MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – I hope the UK will support the development of relations between Belarus and the United States, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Fionna Gibb on 7 August, BelTA has learned.

“You have great relations with the United States. I wish this relations were somehow projected on Belarus. I think you will be able to help us,” the head of state said.
