MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – It is important to maintain process discipline and performance discipline at Belarusian enterprises. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement as he met with top officials and executives of the city of Minsk on 7 July, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Process discipline and performance discipline. Yes, we’ve directed attention to the matter in the last 6-12 months and have started mending our ways. We will perish if there is no quality. Because quality is the basis of export. The country will not be able to live without export, there will be no foreign currency earnings.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that Minsk has to revive all the economic ties once borders are reopened after the pandemic. Minsk has to restore the export potential to last year’s level at least. “The fact that we are falling today is our disaster, not our fault. We haven’t closed anything while everything around us is closed for now,” the head of state pointed out.
