Lukashenko congratulates Berdimuhamedov on re-election as Turkmenistan president
MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the re-election as Turkmenistan president, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This convincing victory testifies to the recognition of your indisputable authority as a national leader, the support of your commitment to the strengthening of independent Turkmenistan and its positions on the global arena,” the message of greetings reads. “Another vivid testimony is the institution of the International Neutrality Day by the United Nations General Assembly following the initiative of Turkmenistan.”
The head of state expressed confidence that the productive Belarusian-Turkmen dialogue, the traditions of friendship and mutual support will help promote dynamic development of cooperation in the best interests of the two countries.
