Lukashenko: BelTA is a reliable source of domestic and international news

MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) - BelTA news agency provides reliable and prompt coverage of events in Belarus and in the world, reads a message of greetings from Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of the centennial anniversary of the agency. It was read out by Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Zhevnyak at a special event in the National Library on 21 December, BelTA informs.

“BelTA news agency is a reliable source of latest news about events in Belarus and in the world and is by right considered one of the leading mass media organizations in the country. BelTA enjoys well-deserved respect and trust of numerous foreign partners. Together they implement important media projects, exchange advanced technologies,” the message of greetings reads.

“On my behalf, I would like to wish BelTA’s highly-qualified personnel further creative success, enthusiasm, peace and wellbeing. No matter how much information human memory can store, your reporters, photographers and cameramen are doing a unique job,” Vladimir Zhevnyak added.

“BelTA is defined by its team,” Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said. “The way they painstakingly gather information, which is referenced by other mass media outlets, is a testimony to their professional excellence. It is their greatest merit. Thank you very much for covering all developments in our state thus making a chronicle of our Belarus.”
