MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Latvia President Raimonds Vejonisas as the country celebrates the 99^th anniversary of the Republic of Latvia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state mentioned the constructive nature of the neighborly Belarusian-Latvian relations relying on the principles of partnership and mutual respect.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed hope for the further active development of cooperation in the bilateral and pan-European formats in the best interests of the two nations for the sake of security and wellbeing in the region.
