The President of Belarus stressed that he is glad to welcome the honored guest from Turkmenistan in Belarus. He also noted with satisfaction that he likes visiting Turkmenistan. “I am always impressed by the innovations in Ashgabat, we even start to adopt the best practices of yours. At the same time, we share our best practices with you,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Alexander Lukashenko pointed out the importance of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s arrival in Minsk. He remarked that the negotiations should focus on the bilateral cooperation, “the situation in the world and its impact on the Belarusian-Turkmen relations”. It is also needed to think what the countries can do next to overcome negative trends which have an influence on the two countries.
