Lukashenko: Belarus is paradise compared to many other countries

MOSTY, 2 November (BelTA) – Belarus is a paradise compared to many other countries, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a ceremony to honor agricultural workers at the Dazhynki 2024 festival in the town of Mosty on 2 November, BelTA has learned.

"Belarus is a paradise compared to many other countries that are plundered or destroyed because people have a different skin color and because their soil is rich in minerals. Therefore, I ask you to take care of the land for ourselves!" the head of state stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that he has been working as president for a long time and has visited many countries and can compare life there and in Belarus.

"I have seen the countries that are starving. Today, almost three billion people are undernourished; 750 million are chronically hungry," the president stated.

Even the richest countries in terms of resources are suffering: the West is trying to strangle these states to get their wealth.

“We must preserve our country. We have everything necessary today to respond to those who are mad, if they do not realize that it is necessary to live in peace with us, be friends, cooperate and raise our children together. Live peacefully. Times are going to be tough. The next five-year period will be very difficult, but we will survive if we are united and stay together,” the Belarusian leader said.
