SOCHI, 10 October (BelTA) – The CIS member states show the world they share similar views on a wide range of issues, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council in Sochi on 10 October, BelTA has learned.
“I believe it is important that in the context of the coordination of our positions we continue transmitting to the international community our agreement on a whole range of issues on the current agenda,” Sergei Lavrov said.
The minister said that during a one-on-one meeting the parties shared opinions on a wide range of issues on the international and regional agendas, discussed the development and strengthening of cooperation in the CIS. “Our countries have similar approaches to most international issues and have many points of contact,” he said.
