PYEONGCHANG, 10 February (BelTA) – High speed on the track let me show a reasonably good result and finish in Top 20, Belarusian biathlete Irina Krivko said after the 7.5K Women’s Sprint at PyeongChang on 10 February, BelTA informs.
The first half of the race was quite successful for Irina Krivko. She shot clean, while her speed let her stay among the strongest athletes. The Belarusian finished 17th. “I could do better if not for the mistake. You cannot stay too long in the shooting range. I showed good speed but winds complicated the competition in PyeongChang. I even got cold in the last loop. I hope I will do better in the next race,” Irina Krivko said.
Darya Domracheva finished 9th, Nadezhda Skardino was 36th and Nadezha Pisareva 62nd.
