MINSK, 15 May (BelTA - Xinhua) – The Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone will be able to provide goods and services for transportation via the Belt and Road infrastructure routes in the medium term, First Deputy Director General of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company Kirill Koroteyev said in an interview with the Xinhua news agency.
“Belarus is an active participant of the Belt and Road initiative. It was one of the first states to officially support the project. Geographically, the country has already made part of two major Silk Road routes. From the economic and infrastructure point of view, Belarus and China are implementing the joint Great Stone park project as one of the hubs of the Silk Road initiative. In the mid-term, the park will provide goods and services for transportation via the Belt and Road infrastructure routes ,” Kirill Koroteyev said.
In his words, today countries are gradually shifting from trade and credit relations to investment cooperation. “The Great Stone park is becoming a popular venue for the implementation of investment projects,” Kirill Koroteyev stressed.
