MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Belarus President has made a great contribution to the stabilization of the situation in the region, Speaker of the Regional Representative Council of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia Irman Gusman said during his meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

Irman Gusman thanked the Belarusian head of state for his contribution to the stabilization of the situation related to the Ukrainian events. “The Minsk agreements that attracted the attention of the whole international community were signed here,” the Indonesian guest noted.

Irman Gusman expressed confidence that the agreements will be implemented and peace will return to the region.
