Ignatiev: Chuvash Republic views Belarus as reliable partner
MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – The Chuvash Republic views Belarus as a reliable and promising partner, Chuvashia President Mikhail Ignatiev said during his meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 9 April, BelTA has learned.
Mikhail Ignatiev emphasized that Belarusian and Chuvash enterprises have long-established economic ties. The bilateral trade has increased 2.5 times over the last three years. “We are interested in strengthening our scientific, technical, and agricultural cooperation. It is very important for us,” Mikhail Ignatyev noted.
As for the industrial cooperation, the Chuvashia President said that “there are some areas of common interest that can give an additional impetus to our businessmen and enterprises and can help us develop this field through horizontal ties.”
