MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – A photo exhibition The Beauty of Vietnam in Minsk is a so-called invitation to visit Vietnam, the country of high cultural values, Vietnam Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said at the opening ceremony of the photo exposition at the National Art Museum of Belarus on 18 June, BelTA informs.
The exhibition The Beauty of Vietnam features 50 photos. Visitors to the exhibition will get some idea about the attractions of Vietnam, the nature, the festivals and other events. Huynh Vinh Ai noted that the exposition would help Belarusians learn about a wonderful and peaceful Vietnam with its hardworking and hospitable people.
Vietnam is rich in natural wonders and cultural monuments, many of which are recognized by UNESCO as the world cultural and natural heritage of humankind. Among them is ha Long Bay with its dazzling beauty, a set of natural and historical sights Trang An, old streets of Hoi An and many more.
According to Deputy Culture Minister of Belarus Vasily Chernik, the photos displayed at the exposition depict an amazing atmosphere of the country with its rich history, unique monuments of nature, architecture and culture. The exposition points to the country’s steady development. Today Vietnam is a public target. The Beauty of Vietnam expo, which will stay open until 24 June, emphasizes traditionally friendly relations and cooperation between the Vietnamese and Belarusian peoples.
Vasily Chernik also expressed confidence that the exposition The Beauty of Vietnam and the Vietnam Days of Culture in Belarus would make the first step towards permanent and active cooperation between the two countries.
The official opening of the Vietnam Culture Days and a gala concert will take place in the concert hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic in the evening of 17 June. he program will include the performance of the artists of the Vietnamese Opera and ballet Theater and the State Music Academy of Vietnam. Residents of Molodechno will be able to get familiar with the musical culture of Vietnam where a concert by Vietnamese performers will take place on 19 June.
The Belarus’ Culture Days took place in Vietnam in 2014. The program on cooperation between the cultural ministries of Belarus and Vietnam adopted last year is aimed at establishing ties between the cultural institutions of the two countries.
