Huawei executive: Smart security project in Great Stone in its nascence

SHANGHAI, 12 October (BelTA) – The implementation of the project to introduce smart security at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone is in its initial stage, BelTA learned from Vice-President for Huawei’s Corporate Business in Central Asia Zhao Xichu on the sidelines of the Huawei Connect 2018 event in Shanghai.

“Our company was among the first to join the Great Stone project. The project is an excellent example of Belarus-China cooperation. This is the biggest park of its kind that China helped to set up outside its border. This project is part and parcel of the Belt and Road concept,” Zhao Xichu said.

He emphasized that the company gives much attention to high-tech projects implemented in the park. “New solutions will be introduced gradually - first smart security, then smart management and small life. The smart security project is in its nascence. Naturally, security is among the most important aspects, the cornerstone of everything. Taking into consideration the scale of the park construction project, this matter gets to the forefront,” Zhao Xichu said.

The Great Stone project might as well incorporate the security solutions presented at the Shanghai expo.

The Huawei Connect 2018 international event is taking place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. It gathered over 30,000 people from 170 countries, including Belarus.
