MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – The high standards of Belarusian healthcare have been duly appreciated by the international community, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Natalya Kochanova before the solemn opening ceremony of the 23rd international CIS congress of hepatology surgeons on 13 September.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus said: “The Belarusian healthcare system operates smoothly and maintains high standards. It is the opinion of our head of state and the international community. The fact that the 23rd international congress of hepatology surgeons of the CIS states has been organized in Minsk confirms it.”
The official said it is also important and significant that specialists from various countries come to Belarus to share their best practices. At the same time Belarusian surgeons have something to show and tell their colleagues. For instance, on 13 September Belarusian medics arranged a master class for colleagues from other countries and demonstrated their surgery skills.
The fact that more and more foreigners come to Belarus to buy Belarusian healthcare services also confirms the high standards of the Belarusian healthcare system, concluded Natalya Kochanova.
The 23rd international congress of hepatology surgeons of the CIS states is scheduled to take place in Minsk on 14-16 September. Specialists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and other countries are expected to take part in the event. Over 250 participants will share their best surgery practices.
