Guo Shengkun: Chinese partners value order and stability in Belarus
MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) - Chinese partners value order and stability in Belarus, China’s State Councilor, Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun said at the meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 10 April, BelTA has learned.
Guo Shengkun conveyed the warmest wishes to Alexander Lukashenko from Chinese President Xi Jinping. He also thanked the Belarusian leader for the provided chance to meet and discuss the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation at such a high level.
The Chinese minister has paid his first visit to Belarus. Guo Shengkun praised the development pace of the Belarusian economy and the stability in the society. “We, as friends and partners, are happy to see this,” the Chinese guest said.
In his words, the foundation for good contacts between Belarus and China has been laid down by regular meetings at the supreme level and “a strong friendship between Alexander Lukashenko and Xi Jinping who outlined the vectors of bilateral cooperation.”
