TBILISI, 22 March (BelTA) – Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili hopes that the Belarusian-Georgian relations will get a new impulse for development. He made the statement during the extended negotiations with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in Tbilisi on 22 March, BelTA informs.
The Georgia president thanked the Belarusian head of state for the formats of cooperation which have been developed and implemented since the first visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Georgia in 2015.
The Georgian leader remarked that during this visit the sides will sign a number of documents in various industries to create a stable foundation of bilateral relations.
Giorgi Margvelashvili also thanked for openness and cooperation during the talks. He also said that Belarus and Georgia have many plans for the future. “I hope that your visit will give a bigger impulse for our bilateral relations,” the Georgian leader said.
