MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Georgia is open for the Belarusian business and tourists, Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili said during a meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, BelTA has learned.
“Belarus and Georgia can establish cooperation in many areas. Georgia is a country of tourism and economic possibilities, transit, agriculture and energetic potential,” Giorgi Margvelashvili underlined.
Georgia is looking forward to expand cooperation across the board. Both countries benefit from the current improvement in trade, economic and cultural relations, Georgia President is convinced.
“Today we are working to realize the Belarus-Georgia potential. 2016 was a record year in terms of trade and tourism. I am sure that this tendency will continue in the future,” Giorgi Margvelashvili noted.
