MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) - Belarus can become a real bridge between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union, First Deputy Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich told reporters, BelTA has learned.

"The Europeans have already made sure that we conduct the foreign policy aimed at strengthening the independence and sovereignty, and establishing truly mutually beneficial, equal relations with the EU,” he noted.

Oleg Gaidukevich took note of the important role of Belarus in promoting the Ukraine settlement and also mentioned the migration crisis in the EU. "As a donor of stability Belarus is very important, including for the EU," he said. The politician believes that after the parliamentary campaign in 2016 Belarus should become a full participant in all parliamentary organizations in Europe.
