MOSCOW, 28 June (BelTA) – The Forum of Regions contributes to closer cooperation between Belarus and Russia, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich told the media in Moscow on 28 June, BelTA has learned.
The forum of regions is held annually. It is an event of great relevance, as every time we see new ideas, contracts and contacts, Mikhail Myasnikovich said. In his view, this suggests that the potential of the cooperation between Belarus and Russia is far from being exhausted. “The interaction within the framework of such forums encourages us to trade more actively and develop investment activities. We have reasons to expect considerable results from this year’s forum,” the speaker of the upper house said.
The Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will be held in Moscow on 29-30 June and will focus on the cooperation between the two countries in science, technology and innovation. It will feature new technologies and equipment. Visitors to the exhibition, which will run during the forum, will be able to get familiar with youth projects as well. “It is wonderful to see young people take an active part in the events of the forum,” Mikhail Myasnikovich said.
