MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ draft budget for 2017 is real and well-balanced, Finance Minister Vladimir Amarin said in an interview to the Belarus One TV channel, BelTA informs.
The draft budget for 2017 has been developed taking into account the need to secure macroeconomic stability and create conditions for economic growth.
“The budget is based on a conservative forecast for economic growth – 100.2% as against 101.7% approved by the head of state’s decree,” the minister explained. In his words, this makes the budget real and well-balanced. “If there is a need to adjust the budget, it will be connected with the over-fulfillment of its revenue part and the use of additional resources for the things we may need in the future,” Vladimir Amarin said.
