MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – The remaining documents on encouraging the development of the private sector will be signed soon, BelTA learned from First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky before the KEF 2017 conference Foundations of the Future on 2 November.
The official said: “Eight of the ten documents have been signed. The document on digitizing the economy, on the Hi-Tech Park will be signed soon. It is virtually ready. I hope there will be a government conference in order to discuss all the peculiarities with a larger audience.”
A broad public discussion of the novelties is supposed to be arranged after the entire package of documents on liberalizing the economy is adopted.
BelTA earlier quoted First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky as saying that the package of documents on encouraging the development of the private sector is supposed to drastically change the business environment in Belarus. The main goals of the package include population self-employment, reduction of the cost of starting a business and its consequent administration, and switching the Belarusian economy to digital rails.
