MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko praised the efficiency of the healthcare system in the country as he heard out a report of Healthcare Minister Vladimir Karanik on 12 March, BelTA informs.
“First of all, I am concerned about the main issue, which is the manageability of the system. Manageability is a crucial aspect, it is always a litmus paper in any extraordinary situations,” the head of state said. “Of course, the healthcare system is working well, and doctors are doing a good job.”
However, Aleksandr Lukashenko acknowledged that there are certain drawbacks. “We will talk about them. They are minor and absolutely subjective. It means that we can avoid them. They do not affect the operation of the healthcare system much,” the Belarusian leader is convinced.
On the whole, he asked Vladimir Karanik about the state of affairs in the sector he is in charge of.
