MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) –Economy will be the key item on the agenda of the CIS Council of Heads of Government meeting due in Minsk on 28 October, Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said in an interview with the MIR 24 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
Particular consideration will be given to the status of implementation of the free trade agreement.
The CIS is a universal platform where the basic principle of free trade was initially formalized in a proper way. Any country that wants its products move freely can achieve this goal, the Prime Minister said.
“The second important thing is the visa-free travel. I think only those who have lost a visa-free regime or encountered difficulties come to truly appreciate this opportunity in the CIS as a result of this integration platform,” Andrei Kobyakov said.
