Dvorkovich: Russia will resume oil supplies to Belarus in full

MINSK, 3 April (BelTA-TASS) - Russia will resume oil supplies to Belarus in full, Russian Vice Premier Arkady Dvorkovich told the media.

“Some intergovernmental documents regarding mutual relations in the gas and oil sector will be adjusted. Once they are initialed, Belarus will pay its debt to Gazprom, i.e. Gazprom Transgaz Belarus to the Gazprom subsidiary, and we will resume oil supplies at the full volume of 24 million tonnes,” said Arkady Dvorkovich.

He added that Gazprom would offer Belarus a discount with a decreasing coefficient for the oil price formula for the period from 2018 to 2019. The relations between the countries after that period will depend on further negotiations, Arkady Dvorkovich added.

The Vice Premier also said that oil supplies might be resumed in April.

“Oil supplies will soon resume, perhaps in April. This will depend on the technical capabilities of the companies,” said Arkady Dvorkovich.
